Step #1: Shut off water supply and unhook
outlet side connectors from your RV. Note: During the
regeneration process only, discharge water {con- taining
salt and mineral concentration} into a drain or gravel.
Step #2: Unscrew and remove cap from softener head.
Step #3: Pour approximately 1 LB 10 OZ (737 g) or one (1) box of common table
salt into softener tank. Replace cap securely. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. Make sure cap o-ring is
properly seated and seating areas are free from foreign material, apply silicone lubricant to
surface of o-ring if necessary.
Step #4:
SLOW RINSE CYCLE 1ST
Turn on water supply at a very slow flow rate for approximately 12 to 15 minutes:
slow trickle stream
should just clear side of tank
should not exceed a maximum of 1/4 gpm
FAST RINSE CYCLE 2ND
Turn on water supply at a fast flow rate for approximately 3 to 4 minutes:
full stream or at least 1 gpm
regeneration cycle will be completed when there is no salt taste
Step #5: Enjoy another
300 to 700 gallons of soft water!

B. CAPACITY OF UNIT:
Use your water quality test strips to check the water hardness of the water source to predict capacity of the unit.
C. EXTREMELY HARD WATER CONDITIONS:
Add 2 Tbs of Super Iron Out in addition to the salt. [found @ Wal-mart or hardware stores]
D. BACK-FLUSH OF UNIT:
perform monthly, if back-flush and regeneration is done at the same time; perform back-flush 1st
