Step
A: This is the way you receive your Portable Water Softener from "On The Go®".
It has the female hose thread adaptor on the inlet side that you can connect your incoming
water hose to and a male hose thread adaptor on the outlet side that you can connect
your outgoing water hose.
Step B: Connect hose to water supply and to softener inlet side. The inlet
Hi-Flow shut off valve if used would be installed at this time to inlet adapter of softener.
Step C: Flush system of softener by running water through the unit for five
minutes. Note: The softener does not require salt or regeneration when received. Unit contains
Cation Exchange Resin which is light amber to black spherical beads-DO NOT REMOVE.
Step D: Connect white drinking water hose to the male hose thread adaptor
on the outlet side and to RV water supply inlet connection. (White drinking hose provided
can be used for either inlet or outlet connections.)
Step E: Make sure softener is standing upright for use.
